We’re excited to announce the Los Angeles live premiere of our newest documentary featuring Njideka Akunyili Crosby in conjunction with The Broad on March 16th at 2:00 pm at the museum’s Oculus Hall on the 2nd floor. Utilizing techniques like painting and photographic transfers, the Nigerian artist tells intricate, deeply personal stories centering African identity and her larger world. Examining recent exhibitions from 2023, Akunyili Crosby is interviewed in her studio with an additional sneak peek at upcoming work. If you can’t make it to the live event, the film debuts on our You Tube channel on March 17th and on our website March 18th.
